These were the cupcakes we made for Easter! I do generally make food that tastes good but I often am lacking in presentation so decorating cupcakes was quite the undertaking. I was disappointed that my photography skills couldn't capture how they really turned out. I will have to dress the kids up and take a picture of them in their Easter clothes later because somehow we forgot.
I recently hosted a baby shower for a friend and made a diaper cake. I thought it turned out pretty well, I think I will attempt it again sometime.
So on the way home from story time someone backed into our new car. I was leaving the parking lot driving down the aisle and they were pulling out and hit me. Fortunately they had good insurance (USAA) and so it is already as good as new.
Brian and Grace love each other. This is them while I was reading stories to them in Graces bed. (Grace was awake I guess Noel caught her with her eyes closed.)
We have decided to go round two with the garden. I will be happy if it is as successful as last year. We are trying some peppers this year. Apparently peppers are great in Oklahoma so we will give it a shot. We are also doing some herbs in pots.
A great activity that takes advantage of Oklahoma wind is kite flying and Grace really enjoys it.
Brian has started solids this is his first attempt at rice cereal he took to it quite a bit better then Grace. look at the 2/22 post in our history if you need a reminder. Though Brian isn't taking as well to our vegetable offerings he does like rice cereal and baby oatmeal.
