We went down to Texas for a visit. It worked out well as I was able to run away from the tornado outbreak. Yay for not having to spend 2 hours in our storm cellar!!!! I don't think I can take much more of this crazy weather -- It's been quite a year. (Yes we have been in OKC for a year now. It is hard to believe) This time the only damage to our house was another part of the fence and a window screen. Noel and I have determined that fences don't last long in Oklahoma.
While in Texas, Grace got to spend a little bit of time with Senya and Ivan. We were all happy to meet the newest Conrad cousin, Ezra. Here is a pic of all five Conrad cousins.
Grandpa Ussing was cool enough to take us out on the boat. Grace had a great time. Brian got to spend time at home with Grandma.
Grace loved to swim in the water. It was a little cold.
I was so proud that Grace was brave enough to ride the rocket tube with me. She was practically doing tricks after about 4 min.
I can still ski!!! I'm a little rusty but I still can do it. I forgot how much I loved to be on the water.
