overwhelmed

I have been more then a bit overwhelmed lately. Both kids have been sick but Brian has been really sick but hopefully we have made some progress now. He was hospitalized for febrile seizures in mid February and also has been having reflux issues that have caused him to loose weight. Grace has just had her normal asthma issues and a UTI but between the two of them we have been in a doctors office every week since mid January and made 5 trips to the ER. So I am very thankful for good insurance. Since I was dealing with all of this I actually forgot that I had a blog. I always have aspirations to make my blog more but who knows if and when that will happen so for now here are some pictures.

Though I have considered locking my kids in a padded room as much as possible we have tried to continue on with life as normal. Brian is such a character. He has decided that this plastic block container makes the perfect helmet. And Grace loves to wear a monkey on her back.

The Normal Public Library is so fun. Grace is very interested in learning to play chess.

Brian was fascinated with the gerbil.

Brian has gotten really good at building towers but It is hard to get a pic because he loves kicking them down.

Its so nice when the kids play well together. They love to play jump rope and chase eachother around the house. It is so miserable when they don't play well together.

We went to the really fun Jasmine Moran Children's Museum. They especially liked the bubbles, fire station and the airplane.

The Kids have enjoyed some really great weather and have been playing outside a lot. This is their favorite way to go down the slide.
