I'm not very good at making up clever titles

So I haven't gotten back in the routine of blogging. Maybe I will soon. I'll try harder. I also don't have pictures of the house to post, we are still decorating. I know I should probably just post them because I don't think we are every going to finish.

Also, we temporarly misplaced our camera so we don't have a lot of pics. We have found the camera now so all is well.

So I guess here is a brief update as to what we have been up to.

For the 4th of July we hung out and went to some activities around base. They had free food everywhere so that was fun. Then we went to Mexico Beach and watched the fireworks. Grace enjoyed them very much.

This is a sign at the marina on base. Grace and I actually did see an Alligator, a small one, on one of our morning walks. I'm just glad I haven't seen any snakes. Noel saw stingrays at the beach on base. All this wildlife is hard to get use to.

Yesterday we went on a walk to Felix Lake. It is a beautiful lake and would be great for waterskiing except there are signs warning that snakes and alligators are abundant.

There is a 1.5 milie hiking trail around the lake but you have to cross this scary bridge. Remember alligators and snakes are abundant.

Also, forget a crawling video, though we still need to get one. Watch out world here she comes!!(Don't worry about the fall at the end she was fine.)

I'm glad you've gotten settled in and are enjoying it there. It looks beautiful but how can it compare to the beauty of Lubbock Texas, right? ;) We miss you guys in the ward. Good luck with everything.

Yep, I'm struggling with the clever title thing myself. I started laughing so hard when I saw the picture of the scary bridge because it looks so quaint until you remind us about the alligators. What a strange thing to have to get used to! And yes, we'd love to see pictures of the house (whether it's decorated or not)!
